Retrieving POP3 E-mail

Accounts that include POP3 e-mail will allow e-mail to be stored at your web server until it is downloaded using a POP3 compatible client such as Microsoft Outlook, Netscape Navigator Mail, Eudora etc.

Second you will need to configure three items in your e-mail program to send and receive e-mail.

  1. Out Going SMTP Server:  Use your local access providers.
  2. Incoming POP3 Server:  mail.your_domain.com
  3. POP3 Account or Login:  your_login1, your_login2, etc.
  4. POP3 Password:  Password for POP3 account specified

Some programs such as Eudora will combine your login name and mail server. In this case you would use a setting for your e-Mail such as:

  1. SMTP Account: Use your local access providers.
  2. POP3 Account: POP3_Account@mail.your_domain.com
